Pro/ENGINEER: Cabling Design I & IIteaches students the techniques involved to complete the entire cabling process. The cabling process includes creating initial 2D wiring schematics, generating realistic 3D wire and cable assemblies, through to generating deliverables such as nail-board wiring drawings, BOM tables and wire lists.
The course is broken up into two sections. The first two days concentrate on teaching the techniques involved in creating 2D wiring schematics using the Pro/DIAGRAM module. The last 3 days concentrate on teaching the techniques involved in generating realistic 3D wire and cable assemblies, through to manufacturing nail-board deliverables using a combination of the Pro/CABLING and Pro/HARNESS-MFG modules.
